Freetimers InternetMy initial role was to develop websites from a approved design concept using basic HTML and CSS using semantically correct markup, I then progressed by learning how the systems work and I became very familiar with PHP and MySQL, I started by integrating basic modules for modular content management systems to programming my own modules, everything from a small to large scale projects such as basic brochure websites to more complex property management websites. I was at one stage the most experienced programmer at Freetimers for around 2 years, at various points being one of the only programmer available to completed the projects.
I was then promoted to a senior developer in 2007 and my role in the company changed as I was then assigned to train junior developers how to build websites to specific standards and quality. I taught them how to use our content management systems, good practices and integration techniques.

- Conversion from ASP website to PHP driven with content management and products database and course availability and booking facility, reverse engineered the database structure and migrated data to MySQL tables.
- converted the previous html tables code into table-less semantic CSS.
